Harmonie, confiance et respect

 

Mon travail est de donner des outils simples et sécuritaires afin d’unir l’harmonie et le respect mutuel durant les approches.

 

Le cheval répond à une répétition de gestes, de sons et à la posture du cavalier. Si les gestes ne sont pas claires, le cheval ne saura pas quoi faire, ni à quelle commande répondre et à quel moment. Tout le travail se fait au sol, il est important de bien communiquer avec le cheval et d’être conscient de sa présence et de son humeur. L’état d’esprit joue aussi un grand rôle dans la communication cheval et humain. Prendre le temps d’observer le cheval pendant les jeux. Savoir « est-il avec moi ou est-il avec ses amis? »

 

N’oublions pas que le cheval ressent notre énergie bien avant qu’il y ait un contact premier avec celui-ci. Vient l’importance de bien respirer profondément, de se détendre avant de manipuler le cheval. Si vous êtes fatigué(e), vous serez alors moins patient(e) et moins à l’écoute du cheval.

Pourquoi travailler au sol et non en selle? Comme je mentionnais plus haut, tout ce que vous faites au sol avec le cheval, est la reproduction des gestes et posture en selle. Aussi une confiance se crée car vous harmonisez vos énergies en vous centrant avec le cheval.

I have a passion and a goal.

 

My passion is horses. This animal is so complete and so understanding. My passion for horses is beyond riding them. Hearing and communicating with them is such a wonderful feeling. Ever since I was young, I knew I had that connection with animals.

 

How I saw and understood horses wasn’t anything like what I read about or witnessed. I honestly thought I was some rare specie from another planet. there had to be more horse people out there like me. To avoid being laughed at I would hide in the forest with Velours when she was a filly and play with her. Step by step I trained her, got her ready for the day I would saddle her up and ride her.

 

A friend of mine once said after watching me train my 10 fillies and colts; "What you do cannot be put into words, one must observe what you are doing to understand why you do it that way. The results you get are forever engraved in the horse's head. It's amazing!"

 

My goal is to help horses by teaching humans to be more respectful towards them. There is still a long road ahead, though more and more people are opening their horizons to do better with more consideration for their horses. I won’t teach how to turn a horse into a circus animal; I have a different opinion on that issue though I have respect for those who do.

 

 

As the years gone by, I discovered my horses also had a goal. Understanding them brought me to concentrate my work on the horse and the person. As I watch the person walk and play with the horse, the why questions become crystal clear. Telling a person the problem isn't the horse but him or her isn't easy. Most riders blame their horse if something goes wrong with the horse. My horses are wonderful teachers to bring oneself aware of the body language we use.

  1. Aucun remboursement si vous annulez votre participation, votre paiement sera retenu comme prépaiement pour un autre atelier ou pour une consultation privée.

  2. Un événement peut être remis à une date ultérieure à cause des conditions météorologiques qui sont hors de notre contrôle ou pour le manque de participants, vous serez informé-e-s par courriel dans les plus brefs délais. 

  3. En cas d'annulation d'un atelier de notre part sans possibilités de reporter l'atelier à une date ultérieure, vous serez remboursés dans les 90 jours.

  2. An event may be rescheduled due to weather conditions beyond our control or lack of participants, you will be notified by email as soon as possible.

  3. In the event that we cancel a workshop and cannot reschedule, you will be refunded within 90 days.
